Nothing is more important to me than helping others and being creative. I am set if these two things are somehow involved in my life. Through my childhood years, I realized that to be an individual, I need to take risks to move forward in life. Getting out of my comfort zone and taking risks taught me that I could do anything if I put my dedication, hardworking mind, and body into it. My goals for the future are to be successful but also have meaning in what I want to accomplish and look at the bigger picture. Half full, rather than half empty. I have had many setbacks in my life, like having a congenital disorder in my left knee called Trochlear Dysplasia and losing my Grandma in 2017. But with these setbacks and sorrows, I overcame them and ended up volunteering and helping people in my community. Giving back to the less fortunate and having a collaborative art show at Greensboro Project space. We are human, and we can be resilient and bounce back!
I affiliate with the LGBTQ+ community and identify with being non-binary. I resonate with my queer community, and it is a massive part of my life that I am passionate about and care for.
I started playing the ukulele when I was 14 and have not quit. I may not be the best ukulele player ever, but I enjoy playing and playing with others. This hobby helps me be more musical even though I am more of a fine arts person. I usually write poetry for my songs and create whole sheet music for chords.
