• Preop pacu nurse for pain, plastics, ortho, and bariatrics.

• Position duties: Prepping GI patients for procedure, starting IVs, procedural nurse care and observation/documentation of all GI procedures, assisting with etching as needed, performing ink and saline lift injections, correct handling and documentation of pathology and specimen, keeping patients safe and informed at all times, assessing and monitoring of vitals and much more.

Float nurse for preop, pacu in their procedure dept handling IR/GI/cath lab cases, I also floated to postpartum, antepartum, and baby nursery. I did help with employee health department duties during busy months.

• Prep/recovery and circulator for the GI lab Unit Manager: Rebecca Albert Position duties Prepping of patients and phase 2 recovery for GI procedures, calling for report for inpatients and observing and recovering before returning to the floor, procedural nurse care and observation/documentation of all GI procedures, injections of epi/tattooing during procedure, intervening when needed for medical distress, assisting providers as directed, maintaining daily scheduling needs and prepping for patient schedules for following days. Hands on care includes: blood draws, PIV/implanted port access, assisting with respiratory distress, IV medications/sedation, administering blood products etc.
