2022, Experience in processing cremains Can cremate bodies with occasional assistance regarding the retort.
Can confidently perform removals from nursing homes, hospitals, hospice homes, or long-term care facilities of bodies up to 300lbs without assistance, can perform home removals with the help of one other funeral service professional. Pulls call for body removals every other night and every other weekend. Highly experienced in 60+ hour work weeks, and experience in performing removals over 100 miles away from funeral home facility independently.
Experience directing chapel services, memorial services, and graveside services, formally seating family, respectfully closing casket at time of funeral service, including removing any necessary jewelry and items from the casket in a tasteful and discrete manner, parking and arranging pallbearers and family members in funeral procession line, some experience running sound systems during services, experience in helping grave digger and vault company appropriately close graves, makes temporary grave markers, experience taking down burial tents, arranging flowers for services in chapel, at graveside, or other place of service. Experience in providing the same level of care, service, and respectful direction to different cultures and religions such as Christian, Hindu, and Catholic services, Works visitations during the day and frequent night visits
Independently embalmed 127 decedents to date, experience in raising & injecting vessels, mixing & preparing arterial solution based off of the needs of each decedent, cavity treatment, embalming & preparation of both full & partial autopsied cases, cleaning & bathing the deceased, removing medical devices from the deceased, restorative experience using wax in cases of severe trauma or decomposition, hypodermic treatment, cosmetics, cutting or trimming hair, suturing incisions, dressing & casketing, and handling and/or disposing of biomedical waste using universal precautions.
