Summary

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist with over two years of experience as a nightshift generalist, I have developed proficiency across many areas of the laboratory. I am confident in my abilities but always open to feedback and learning new skills. Through my broad experience, I find that I am most passionate about molecular, serology and blood bank testing. I am now seeking a career that aligns more specifically with my interests as a scientist and it is one of my life goals to accept a position that may lead me into these specialized areas.

I enjoy the multi tasking and problem solving challenges that come with being a lab scientist because it makes everyday unique. I am a hard-working independent individual that likes to lead collaboratively. Lab work relies on competent professionals joining efforts to produce quality results. I believe patient focus should always be the cornerstone of everything we do and I strive for excellence everyday with this in mind.

Looking ahead, I am excited to eventually further my education and ultimately work more directly with patients. But for now, I am extremely eager for my next opportunity to grow as an MLS and contribute to a team dedicated to advancing patient care. Thank you for your time and consideration.
