I’m a motivated professional with four years of customer service experience and a strong foundation in leadership developed through JROTC, higher education, and hands-on research. During high school, I held multiple leadership roles in JROTC, including Plans Squadron Superintendent, Awards and Decorations Officer, and Physical Fitness Team Vice Commander. In these positions, I led teams, coordinated operations, and upheld performance standards. I also organized and led a Curriculum-in-Action (CIA) trip to Salt Lake City, managing logistics and coordination for approximately 100 cadets. I was selected to participate in the Devil Pups and Four Star Leadership programs, where I further developed discipline, teamwork, and leadership under pressure. During Devil Pups, I earned the Honor Platoon Pup award in recognition of leadership and performance. I am currently a freshman in college majoring in Forensic Psychology, where I am also a Research Assistant on a campus research project focused on bed bugs. Through this role, I am developing skills in research methods, data collection, analysis, and collaboration in an academic setting. I bring strong communication skills, adaptability, and a leadership mindset, and I am eager to continue growing academically and professionally while contributing meaningful value to future opportunities.
During my time in JROTC, I held multiple leadership positions that emphasized organization, accountability, and team leadership. I served as Plans Squadron Superintendent, Awards and Decorations Officer, and Physical Fitness Team Vice Commander, where I was responsible for planning unit activities, managing records and recognition programs, and leading cadets in physical training and performance standards. I also led and organized a large-scale Curriculum-in-Action (CIA) trip to Salt Lake City, coordinating logistics, supervision, and execution for approximately 100 cadets, ensuring a successful and well-organized unit experience. In addition to unit leadership, I was selected to participate in elite leadership development programs, including Devil Pups and Four Star Leadership, where I developed discipline, teamwork, and leadership under pressure. During Devil Pups, I earned the Honor Platoon Pup award in recognition of outstanding leadership, professionalism, and performance among peers.
The Celebrate Freedom Foundation Award is National Award for JROTC cadets in order to honor cadets who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, leadership potential, and ethical standards. I was nominated and received the award 2023 during my Junior year of JROTC. In 2022, I earned the Platoon Honor Pup distinction for 3rd Platoon while attending the Devil Pups Youth Leadership Program at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. This recognition is awarded to the individual who consistently demonstrates exceptional leadership, discipline, and physical fitness. I was selected for this honor from a platoon of 49 cadets based on my performance in competitive evaluations, inspections, and demonstrated peer leadership throughout the program’s intensive 10-day encampment.
