I worked as an nighttime nanny with a family of four, ages 7 and under. It was my job to handle dinner planning, evening activities, and establishing bedtime routines. For normal weekday activities, I would coordinate morning routines, as well as adhering to a school drop off schedule. During the weekend, I would coordinate meals and healthy snacks, while sticking to a schedule that revolved around playtime and educational activities. If there were any extra curricular activities I ensured that the kids were dropped off and picked up. Working with the four unique personalities, I learned to build the skills to manage emotions and behaviors. I also strengthened time management skills in downtime when not directly supervising the children, by working in housework or schoolwork.
