For a couple of summers I worked at Inspire Youth Zone, in England. The volunteering work I was involved in developed my skills in looking after and adapting to children’s needs. The ability to work effectively as a team and co operate with other team members effectively. Being able to think clearly and rationally in stressful situations and under high pressure. Adapt good communication skills towards minors and other staff members. Long suffering/ patient. To be selfless, mindful and put others needs before your own. Stay composed and rational in high stressful and demanding situations and to also be organized but flexible if plans suddenly change.
I also had further volunteering experience for my church for the span of 18 months. from September 2020, to March 2022. This was a time in which I dedicated my time, resources and saved up my own money to go and volunteer for 18 months. This volunteering work taught me a lot of valuable skills. For an example, we set and accomplished weekly and long-term teaching and personal improvement goals. I would also teach an average of 16 individuals and groups each week on how to enrich their lives through personal application and study. I had the privilege a couple of times to train new volunteers on how to teach and adjust to rigorous schedules. I also had the responsibility for motivating, evaluating and reporting progress of other volunteers. It also taught me a lot about how to be a "peoples person". I came across a wide range of different people, who came from different countries, background and beliefs in which we would teach and adjust to their needs.
