- In the 9 years with the Highway Department, I've performed a large variety of tasks I started as a patrolman on the state, taking pride in my duties plowing snow, particularly in learning and becoming fluent in the operation of the new FRS snow removal units, enough so to teach other employees how to use it and field questions about its capabilities to other municipalities at the Universal Truck Equipment open house
- I worked and learned under the direction of John Hollis in the areas of concrete repair, drainage structure repair and traffic control systems from 2 lane low volume roads to multi lane interstate closures
- I've worked at the county and state levels in guardrail installation and repair, culvert replacement and repair, asphalt maintenace, mowing/tree cutting brushing, winter snow removal, crack filling practices, chip sealing practices and general section maintenance
