While under the tutelage and observation of Head of Baylor Research, Dr. Mary Loveless, and with the assistance of Dr. Louie Elliott, the Baylor Research Program has allowed me to research into the fabrication of force feedback haptic technologies and their implementations into haptic gloves for virtual reality, using Arduino and Processing to analyze data and visualize data received from the glove and virtual reality, activating and deactivating the haptic systems of the glove and adjusting the positioning of the hands in virtual reality.

Wrote and published one ekphrastic poem in Baylor's art and literature journal "Periaktoi" regarding Peter Blume's 1948 painting entitled "The Rock", emphasizing different aspects of the painting and putting a creative spin to characteristics of the setting portrayed in the painting.
