Operating Computer Cursor using Eye and Face Movements Dec. 2020- Apr. 2021

  • Designed a hands-free cursor control system for disabled users using Python and OpenCV, by translating facial gestures to mouse actions on the screen.
  • Calculated the EAR (Eye Aspect Ratio) and MAR (Mouth Aspect Ratio) values to perform cursor actions.
  • Implemented actions such as clicking and scrolling through facial movements such as blinking and squinting of the eyes. The cursor can be moved in all four directions based on the movement of the nose tip.
