- Responsible for monitoring and analyzing environmental conditions of the drying room
- Collaborate with the Director of Cultivation to determine an appropriate date for processing harvested plants in order to be prepared for the next harvest
- Responsible for ensuring the appropriate density of harvested material within the drying room is maintained
- Responsible for ensuring that product is rotated to allow for drying regularly.
- Monitor and screen for flower quality during post-harvest to ensure internal standards are maintained
- Support in test sample processing as needed
- Ensure that the batches of flowers are free of any contamination
- Communicate effectively with managers of each department.
- Responsible for ensuring that all post-harvest batch weights are logged in the appropriate spreadsheet and Metrc.
- Implement processes to ensure proper sanitation of all post-harvest tools, workspaces, and rooms used during the post-harvesting process.
- Train and confirm that all post-harvest staff are following and executing the company’s standard operating procedures.
