I have done various extracurricular work throughout my high school year. I have been an active Interact club member with 70+ hours. In this volunteering opportunities I've increased my social connections and ability to connect with others. I am currently an E-board member, in which I have to connect with other Interact club members in leading any events. I make sure all of the members volunteering are doing what is said, and living up to the Rotary expectations. I am the upcoming years NAMI president and my experience in this club has helped my develop my public speaking and advocating skills. I have stood up for mental health through this club in various ways: being interviewed on the news to state my advocacy, talking to the state legislatures directly, coordinating school events.
