  • was brought on as a helper and my younger age moved up to driver after driver moved up to manager
  • As a helper your instructed to learn how to pack and or rap items in a truck as well as ensure the safety of you and the other teammate on the move
  • Becoming lead helper I was able to run the secondary crew on a four-man crew and ensure that my truck was packed to efficiency as well as not having any damages for the customer
  • Upon receiving my job title and or raise as a driver I was insured on being the face of the company for the customer and maintaining my two to four crew members on my truck depending on the size of the job
  • Once made manager after seeing my due diligence and being a driver and ability to not have damages and handle customer issues and assessments I was made a Houston area manager which put me in charge of about nine trucks at the time which eventually moved to 11:00 which had a driver on each and at least one helper on each depending on the move size it could have varied from two or three drivers and four or six helpers on top of that I was in charge of payroll collecting payment and maintaining face for the company throughout the entirety of the move no matter the time or day when the move was completed or started we did not have a start or stop time we did as the customer so asked or needed
  • I was in charge of inventory as such as blankets dollies anything on the truck making sure it was clean swept out and made neat for the next day and or next crew as well as having an understanding on the preventative maintenance and or issues with the trucks I did anything as far as oil changes filter changes battery swaps and even more basic switches as far as starters alternators and or fuel pumps or anything of the sort that could be accessed with a wrench and have minor to little supervisory during the repair or maintenance of said vehicle
