- The Faith House is a shelter for women that have made it out safe from abused situation and need a place to stay with their kids. The parents and kids are supplied as well as being confident due to safety. I was able to learn how to interact with the kids and being able to help the mothers through their emotions times if they needed to talk and receive positive feedback. I learned a lot from Faith House and enjoyed working with the mothers and kids. I also was able to pick up donations such as supplies as of food, person hygiene supplies, toys, cloths. Being a part of the Faith House allowed me to be opened minded on to how many women are abused and are able to leave there situation from abuse alive.

- Responsibilities Included:
- - Making home visits to clients homes, taking notes on the child as well as the way they respond and body language, reporting back to CASA, making sure that the child was in a safe home and going to court on court dates as scheduled.
- I have learned a lot from CASA. CASA is Organization that will put you through some of the toughest areas, meaning if a child is being abused when doing a home visit you are ordered to call the cops as well as your supervisor to let them know what is going on and the reason you don’t feel that child is safe back in the home of the parents. I have learned to write case summaries, steps on how everything should be documented as well as how it should be turned in for court, understanding areas on what’s important talking to parents, and knowing the importance of the child safety.
