Screens & schedules patients for Parkridge Endoscopy Center (ASC).

• Provides assistance, guidance and direction to healthcare systems and/or physicians opening an ambulatory surgery center
• Assists with accounting, budgeting and financial direction for the ASC
• Provides assistance with the creation of policies and procedures.

• Conducts mock accreditation surveys, including quality & safety requirements
• Performs as primary liaison
• Developed strong relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry, including vendors
• Assisted clients in obtaining necessary certifications and accreditations by guiding them through rigorous application processes and providing expert advice on compliance matters.

• The Director-perioperative services-ASC plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates all clinical and business activities and operations of the assigned surgery centers
• Also includes developing and promoting standardization across multiple sites

• The Nurse Manager is responsible for 24-hour management of the perioperative departments' services and programs
• Also includes direction and supervision of the functions and activities of the stated departments
• Develops, implements, and interprets policies, schedules, and supervises assigned employees and ensures the quality of care provided to patients and families
• Also responsible for budgetary management and human resource management
• Strategies, implements and maintains safety processes, measurements & tasks
• Participates in the development, implementation and team education regarding quality control improvements

• Directs and conducts recruitment, hiring, and training of personnel
• Also establishes work schedules and assignments for staff, according to workload, space, and equipment availability

• Professional responsible for taking care of patients throughout the process of a surgical procedure
• Responsibilities also include but are not limited to maintaining a sterile environment, positioning patients, adhering to safety standards and accreditation regulations, documentation, and patient assessment
