-Monitored for changes in patients' condition by monitoring vital signs, symptoms, test results, and patients' response to medication and treatments. Notified MD of changes in patient's status. 

-Called rapid responses, STEMI alerts and Stroke alerts as appropriate for rapidly declining patients to prevent patient harm. 

-Coordinated care between multidisciplinary team members to ensure high quality care of patients.
-Trained new nurses on policies, charting system, time management, Pyxis and providing exceptional patient care. 

-Administered medications via PO, PR, SQ, IM and IV routes as ordered by physician.
-Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to patients' individual circumstances.
-Management of PEG/ G tubes, including administration of medications and tube feeds via tube.

-Preformed morning lab draws via venipuncture.

-Prepared patients for surgery.

-Verify and carry out orders placed by prescribers to help treat and manage patient's conditions.
-Administer medications prescribed by provider of PO, IM, SQ and IV routes.
-Proficient in management of tracheostomy care.

-Wound care, including wound vac dressing changes.

-Give COVID-19 and flu vaccinations to adults and children 8 years old and older.
-Supervise other clerical staff and provide training and orientation to new staff.
-Establish and maintain patient profiles, including lists of medications taken by individual patients. 

-Receive written prescription or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate. 

-Compounded medications according to written prescriptions.

-Operate cash registers to receive payments from patrons.
-Preformed cash office duties, such as creating tills in the morning and counting them out at night
