Management
· Communicating with owner about daily required tasks such as feeding, grooming, any incoming deliveries or services and any required medical treatment for horses
· Insuring all farrier and vet appointments are scheduled appropriately
· Communicating with feed store to fulfill orders of any need items for the barn

Cleaning
Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment with tasks such as:
· Sweeping/mopping main barn and adjoining rooms
· Cleaning/sanitizing bathroom
· Cleaning/sanitizing horse bathing area
· Doing laundry
· Cleaning equipment
· Raking outdoor debris
· Cleaning/sanitizing all horse supplies: brushes, buckets, ect.
· Wiping down all counters
· Vacuuming office area
· Keeping office desk organized
· Noting any signs of pests and notifying the owner immediately
Grooming/Care
Responsible for the grooming and general care of eight horses with tasks including:
· Bringing in each horse in the morning and turning back out in the afternoon, handling horses in a safe and effective manner
· Grooming each horse as directed by owner
· Making note of any illness/injuries
· Applying medicine to any injuries as directed by owner and or vet
· Bathing horses
Feeding
· Prepparing food for eight horses, ensuring all necessary medications are included
· Communicating with owner about any food/portion changes
· Refilling the feed storage bucket when low
· Ensuring all horses have enough hay and water throughout the day
· Ensuring all outdoor water buckets are filled
· Using tractor to distribute hay throughout the pastures on a daily basis
· Noting any eating changes in horses; documenting for owner and vet
Cashier (2014-2015)
· Responsible for maintaining a friendly attitude and providing excellent customer service to an average of 200+ people a day
· Handling money
· Fixing any issues and answering any questions a guest may have about their purchase
· Advertising various store promotions to shoppers
Sales floor Representative (2015-2016)
Responsible for managing assigned section of the store with tasks including:
· Using electronic equipment such as Zebra scanners and printers
· Tracking and recording sales numbers
· Zoning isles and making sure all products are in their proper place
· Fallowing a diagram for moving shelves and setting products during isle resets
· Setting up displays
· Stocking shelves and keeping track of inventory
· Ensuring that all pricing is correcting and setting all sale signs

· Using heavy equipment such as bailers and compactors to dispose of trash and recyclables

· Working quickly as a team to unload one or two trucks on strict time schedule
