In this position I created and prepared seasonal menus which I coordinated with merchandising and promotions, and extensively communicated with department managers and vendors. The role I loved most in this unique opportunity was to encourage guests of all skill levels and backgrounds to confidently prepare elevated and nourishing meals. I also marketed for my department on social media with daily posts and periodic articles. I acted as an interim department manager in the manager's absence which included handling donations for local organizations and community outreach events. The verifiable contribution under my leadership was a marked increase in sales of the products and ingredients used in the demonstrations I lead.

I was proud to be a pastor this group of like minded individuals who passionately supported and cultivated relationships with coffee farmers and worked to engage with the families who supplied the source of our income. In this position I worked independently multi-tasking to the extreme! I organized music shows, booked bands, and taught myself how to operate the sound board, in addition to many other serving and barista's duties. I created a house-made menu which brought the cafe from store bought basic fare to scratch made soups and sandwiches. I thoughtfully wrote recipes for employees of any skill level to easily and efficiently prepare. This change to the menu specifically increased food sales by about twenty five percent.
