My husband and I have sailed 7 times, 5 times being on Norwegian Cruise Line and we just recently booked a sailing for April 2024. We started out on Carnival with our then 10 and 7 year old daughters, just to give it a try and see if we liked it. We loved it! So then decided to move up the scale and we chose the Getaway for our next family adventure. I'm so glad we did!! The only other time we didn't sail on NCL was because friends invited us to join them on a Royal Caribbean cruise. We didn't love it. We have since sailed the last 2 years straight with another one to come in the Spring and we couldn't be more excited! The ships we've been on are the Getaway, the Escape (twice), the Joy and the Encore.
