We are a locally owned dairy processing facility capable of handling up to 8 million pounds of milk per day, sourced from over 100 regional farms.

As a member of the maintenance team, I play a key role in commissioning, maintaining, and optimizing the automated systems and machinery that support our high-volume production. My responsibilities include:

• Commissioning & Setup: Installing and configuring new automated equipment to ensure readiness for production.
• Maintenance & Repair: Performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure consistent performance.
• System Optimization: Analyzing system performance and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and throughput.
• Collaboration: Working closely with engineers and fellow technicians to support smooth, continuous operations.
• Continuous Learning: Staying up to date on emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance system reliability and innovation.
• Routine Monitoring: Conducting daily rounds to proactively identify and address potential equipment issues.

• Company Overview: Westinghouse Electric Company is a nuclear power company that provides products and services to commercial nuclear power plants and government agencies. Westinghouse is a leader in the nuclear energy industry, and its technology is used in almost half of the world’s operating nuclear reactors. As a Radiation Protection Technician, I am responsible for the safety of the plant, the workers, and the community of radiological release.
• Use instrumentation and procedures to measure and monitor radiation levels
• Collecting and analyzing radiological samples
• Overseeing work involving radioactive materials and supervising personnel
• Documenting radiation and contamination surveys
• Taking corrective action and responding to unexpected conditions
• Providing radiological control coverage for highly contaminated work
• Communicating with supervision and required site contacts
• Working in a team environment with other RP staff and site staff

• Company Overview: CPCco is the prime contractor for the safe, environmental cleanup of the Central Plateau at the Hanford site.
• Conduct routine inspections on facilities to ensure that the current state is following environmental safety and operation regulations as set forth by the company and state.
• Conduct routine inspection on all safety equipment and emergency equipment in all designated vehicles and facilities in compliance with procedural requirement

• Company Overview: WRPS manages one of the most challenging radioactive waste cleanup project in the country focused on reducing the environmental risk posed by the 56 million gallons of radioactive and chemical waste on the Hanford site.
• Responsible for delegating tasks and duties to fellow NCO to ensure safe and compliant progression of sampling activities.
• Coordinated with other crafts and management to ensure that the progression of sampling activities is following operating practices and safety and procedural requirements.
• Actively involved in designing and developing equipment and methods associated with sampling operations to improve contamination and radiological control.
• Actively involved in generating, classifying, packaging and storing of radio-active waste materials while adhering to all Federal and State regulations.
• Assisting management in cradle to grave process of multiple waste stream disposal, in accordance with the procedural specific duties of facilitating containment and storage, packaging, and completion of necessary paperwork to prepare waste to be shipped.
