Every job opportunity I’ve had, whether it be volunteering or not, has taught me something different than the last. At my most recent job, I was in a work environment that was completely new to me, however I learned quickly how to do the basics that the job required such as becoming familiar with different machines and laws. I was able to improve my customer service skills and learn something new each day, which is something I personally enjoy. I would learn new ways to use the machines that I would have to enter the customer’s information and or jackpot amounts, as well as handling my own money that I was personally responsible and accountable for.
