  • Once received into the system, putaway has to be done to relocate each box to a location to begin picking.
  • A tablet is used while scanning to provide the correct information to know what location and section to go when picking.
  • After picking and ensuring all items are correct, the merchandise has to be packed in packaging envelopes. When packing, measuring and weighing the package is necessary to input the information into the shipping labels which is done through a computer. When an order has items that are extremely heavy or breakable, wrapping paper has to be wrapped around the item and packaged in its correct measurement box to ensure the items gets to its destination during delivery.
  • Once the order has been packaged with its shipping label it is ready to be shipped through UPS. Prepare each order with its own UPS shipping label, which is also done through a computer, so the UPS is able to deliver the package to its correct destination.
