I started in a new construction environment working with three principals from out of Carroll, IA. The principals owned and operated an Epcon Community in Grimes, IA.
As an agent under the builder, you were to interface with all of the departments; selling, listing properties for sale, marketing, meeting with construction moving the homes from infrastructure to close. Once the home was delivered to the buyer, the responsibility shifted to follow up on how the buyer was enjoying the home, any problems (resolution), warranty. Referral and additional marketing. I worked with the Epcon out of Ankeny as well and later in that capacity with Hubbell homes and Hubbell Realty company. Sixteen out of the eighteen years in Real Estate have been primarily working with New Construction as well as existing remodel, investment and general sales.
