• March 2022 – Present: State representative for the Louisiana Division of Archaeology at a prehistoric excavation in Mandeville, LA and an urban excavation at Madame John’s Legacy in New Orleans, LA; assisted with pedestrian surveys and archaeological fieldwork at various sites in Louisiana.
• August 2020 – August 2021: Field crew for R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc., participated in Phase I and Phase II surveys at various sites around Louisiana including Kisatchie National Forest, oil and gas pipelines, and an agricultural field; participated in a Phase I/II excavation of a historic urban site in Algiers; crew chief on Phase I access road survey and on Phase III excavation of historic urban site in Algiers.
• June 2015 – May 2018: Regular volunteer for the University of New Orleans at various sites in the French Quarter, Tremé, and Lower Ninth Ward; crew chief for the 2015 University of New Orleans summer field school at 810 Royal Street; crew chief for the 2017 University of New Orleans summer field school on a Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency sponsored excavation in Hohenthurn, Austria to recover the remains of a WWII Tuskegee Airman.
• March 2003 – June 2014: Student volunteer and full-time employee for the Louisiana State University Forensic Anthropology and Computer Enhancement (FACES) Laboratory; assisted in field recoveries of unidentified human remains from forensic and historic contexts, the recovery of caskets and human remains displaced due to hurricanes, the removal of historic burials in the path of urban and road development, and the documentation of historic cast iron burials.
