As an experienced educational leader, I am passionate about ensuring that teaching is challenging, creative, holistic and prepares all students to confidently enter an ever-changing global society. My vision is for classrooms to be positive, inclusive spaces where all students can reach their full potential. My knowledge of both the British and Irish national curriculums allows me to support staff and students, drive teaching and learning forward and ensure the progression of each child in their primary education.
Working within a WASC accredited school in Doha, responsible for collaborating with the wider senior leadership team to maintain excellence in both teaching and learning, providing both curriculum and pastoral support to ensure teachers thrive and pupils progress.

• Communicating the school’s vision and supporting the school ethos and mission through strategic leadership
• The day-to-day management of 900+ student body and 106 teaching staff
• Managing staff and resources to that end

Teaching, Curriculum and Assessment
• Establish and sustain high-quality teaching across subjects and phases
• Monitor, evaluate and review the use of academic resources
• Establish curriculum leadership, including subject leaders
• Model, encourage and maintain supportive and respectful relationships with parents and carers
Staff Management and Professional Development
• Performance manage teaching staff and middle leaders
• Manage staff well with due attention to workload and wellbeing
• Ensure staff have access to appropriate, high-standard professional development opportunities
Assessment
• Lead on the whole-school assessment strategy
• Compose mid/end of semester exams and mark schemes
• Track and analyse pupil performance data
• Plan and implement interventions
Pastoral
• Establish and implement whole-school systems for pupil wellbeing
• Conduct pupil voice surveys
• Provide staff with training and support
• Promote and evaluate the effectiveness of the school’s behaviour policy and strategies
• Monitor pupil attendance
• Analysing whole-school data on attendance, behaviour and wellbeing to inform future improvement strategies
