I grew up in a bicultural environment, deeply influenced by both, the German and the US culture. This unique upbringing has significantly shaped my identity and provided me with a broad perspective of life.

From early childhood, I embraced the traditions and customs of both cultures, that enriched my understanding of diversity.

Being bilingual in German and English has not only enhanced my communication skills but also allowed me to connect with a wider range of individuals, fostering empathy and understanding.

My bicultural background has instilled in me values as respect, resilience and understanding of community. While there have been challenges, such as balancing expectations, these experiences have strengthened my sense of self and commitment to advocating for inclusion and diversity.
