TxDOT ( Houston ) US 290 Project - Construction Inspector IV

Mr. Norris Duties include serving as an inspector to supplement TxDOT forces where needed to monitor the construction of all items of work. He also conducts sampling and testing in accordance to TxDOT "Guide schedule of sampling and testing." Items include concrete paving, bridge structures sick as drill shafts, columns and caps, Beams erection, Concrete panel placements, and bridge deck construction. Mr. Norris is proficient in TxDOT's SiteManager program for completing Daily Work Reports (DWR) and reporting all work activities for payment of completed item quantities.

TxDOT District 12, Houston, Southeast Area Office

Mr. Norris served as an inspector for earthwork, lime treated subgrade and lime treated base, seal coat paving, hot mix, bridge piling, drill shafts, columns, caps and bridge decks, retaining walls (MSE and Soil nail), Sealed expansion joints, bridge rails and bridge and concrete paving repairs. He kept records and prepared daily work reports on TXDOT SiteManager program.

Mr. Norris worked with the project manager as second in charge on IH45 (Gulf Freeway) from BW8 to Medical Center BLVD

Mr. Norris worked in the maintenance office and preformed inspection of routine maintenance projects (RMC) for bridge and concrete paving repair projects and reported daily activity on TxDOT SiteManager program.

Mr. Norris worked on US 59 from Kelley St to FM1485 and IH610 from IH10 to US59
