I have a strong background in criminal justice, security, and public service, shaped by both military and civilian experience. I served in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant and Motor Transportation Operator, where I led Marines in logistical operations and developed leadership, discipline, and operational planning skills. After my military service, I worked as an armed security guard contractor, ensuring the protection of people and property in high-security environments. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where I further strengthened my academic understanding of the justice system. I also completed two valuable internships, one with the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Police Department, where I assisted with campus safety operations, and another with Lancaster County Community Corrections Adult Drug Court, where I supported rehabilitation efforts and worked closely with individuals navigating the criminal justice system. These combined experiences have provided me with a strong foundation in law enforcement, corrections, and public safety. My skill set includes leadership, teamwork, attention to detail, conflict resolution, critical thinking, situational awareness, strong written and verbal communication, and a solid understanding of security operations and criminal justice procedures.
