Soon-to-be college student who can work full time until the school year starts. Once the school year starts, I will still live locally and can work part time. No prior working experience, but ready to learn the skill set and mindset required for any given task.

• At youth challenge program all cadets needed 40 hours of community service to graduate but the average was 72 hours. The community service that I was assigned consisted of a wide range of activities including: setting up an elementary school field day and managing activity areas, stocking local food bank, sweeping and clearing children's museum warehouse, weeding children's museum garden, cleaning cemetery with hurricane damage, directing parking traffic at local dragon boat festival, setup and cleanup as well as general assistance for a fair held on base, performing basic drill and ceremony at a VA event
• When we weren't booking community service hours or at the schoolhouse we were still being put to work on random details to go help our somewhere on base or working in the DFAC cleaning or washing dishes. Some tasks that I was assigned include: sweeping and mopping the cafeteria, wiping down the tables, [dumping trays, rinsing debris off of trays, and managing the industrial washer], furnishing two living quarters, furnishing a one story office building, moving all the bunks and lockers and belongings of a different platoon from one building into a new building, and cleaning up a trashed field after a large event.
• reached "five star cadet". Cadets were promoted quarterly with the criteria for promotion being improvement in both academic and fitness scores and receiving no disciplinary action. Cadets would gain a star every promotion starting at one stars and maxing out at four stars. Those that made it to four stars attended a promotion board to compete for five stars with three cadets being selected from each platoon which held around forty five cadets at that time. YCP is technically listed as a high school so this technically counts as an academic achievement.
