Hiram Jaw

I pride myself on the competitive edges I can bring to any team. Proactivity, communication, humility and conflict resolution I believe are my greatest attributes. I am a process-driven, detail -oriented student with a natural curiosity for the world and the people that populate it. I care deeply about relationships and stewarding my responsibilities professionally.

I worked as a swiss-army knife at Stanley Wong Insurance. It was an industry that I had no prior experience or knowledge in. I learned on the fly how to quote home, auto and umbrella insurance, helped present policies, co-sold policies, filed claims and processed payments during my 17 months at SWI. I also led company meetings, worked the phones, did direct face to face customer service and over the email and phone lines.

On campus I am dedicated to Campus Outreach. We are a college ministry that brings faith onto the college campus and introduces people to the life of Jesus. I got to go on a 6 week cross-cultural project out in Christchurch New Zealand on the campus of the University of Canterbury. Through this organization I have also been able to attend conferences in Chattanooga, TN as well as Austin, TX.

I am also into physical activity. I regularly practice Kickboxing and Muy Thai at Victory MMA, one of the most competitive gyms in San Diego. I also play basketball and American football.

In my free time, I enjoy photography on my film camera. I like being in nature, and capturing memories on camera to develop later is rewarding to me. I have an artistic side too, I am an avid painter and graphic designer.
