• Actively participate in diagnostic and therapeutic planning, communicate effectively with families, and coordinate follow-up care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform select procedures under supervision—such as lumbar punctures, and chest tube insertions—in the PICU, Emergency Department, and Procedure Unit.
• Write and manage patient orders from admission through discharge while maintaining accurate, detailed medical documentation.
• Present patient cases during morning reports and participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds.
• Cover assigned night shifts and provide ongoing patient care during after-hours.
Collaboration with multiple pediatric subspecialties to optimize patient care
• Lead or assist with teaching activities, including teaching sessions to medical students.

• Initial assessment of pediatric patients with Hematologic/Oncologic conditions.
• Active participation in all aspects of patient care, including history taking and physical examination, diagnostic and therapeutic planning, interactions with families, and scheduling follow-ups.
• Active participation under supervision in certain procedures that include: lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies, and chest tube insertion in the PICU, ER, or the Procedures Unit.
• Writing patients' orders from admission until discharge, and maintaining comprehensive medical records.
• Present patients' cases in morning reports and daily rounds.- Attend the night shifts.
• Implement the SPIKES protocol when delivering difficult or distressing information.
• Participate in different teams such as the pain and palliative team, emergency team, and consults team.
• Conduct orientation sessions and seminars for medical students.
