• Actively participate in diagnostic and therapeutic planning, communicate effectively with families, and coordinate follow-up care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform select procedures under supervision—such as lumbar punctures, and chest tube insertions—in the PICU, Emergency Department, and Procedure Unit.
• Write and manage patient orders from admission through discharge while maintaining accurate, detailed medical documentation.
• Present patient cases during morning reports and participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds.
• Cover assigned night shifts and provide ongoing patient care during after-hours.
Collaboration with multiple pediatric subspecialties to optimize patient care
• Lead or assist with teaching activities, including teaching sessions to medical students.
