• Improved efficiency by rapidly adapting to different departmental workflows during float pool assignments.
• Enhanced patient care by providing specialized critical care nursing services in multiple departments, including ICU, CCU, and ER.

• Caring for critical patients in 24-bed unit
• Providing care to two highly acute patients per shift, including but not limited to: sepsis, end-stage liver/renal disease, Calcium Channel Blocker overdose, Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, post-arrest, COVID-19, and cancer patients
• Skills: Targeted Temperature Management; Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy; titrating vasoactive medications, sedation, heparin, and insulin; safe management of arterial lines, Swan Ganz, and central lines; ventilator management through endotracheal tubes; level one rapid infusion; Minnesota tube; and manual proning
• Responsible for responding to Rapid Responses and Code Blues throughout hospital and outlying UC facilities

• Caring for patients in critical 12-bed unit, supporting fellow nurses in delivering outstanding treatment to patients
• Providing exceptional care to three highly acute patients per shift needing complex care such as ventilatory management through trach, titrations of medications, extensive wound care, and prostacyclin administration
• Using first-hand knowledge and clinical expertise to advocate for patients and follow through with prescribed treatment strategies
