Develop and formulate policy and guidance on all Air Force Reserve (AFR) personnel programs relating to recruiting, retention, accession, entrance standards, intra & inter service transfers, enlistments and military service obligations. Serve as functional expert on these areas and provides technical assistance to AFPC, AFRC and MPFs. Serve as liaison between the Pentagon and Recruiting Service as the Air Staff's most senior recruiting expert. Manage program elements for recruiting training, incentives, end strength requirements and recruiter resources. Consult and coordinate with organizational counterparts with Air Staff, AF deputy Chief of Staff, Personnel and Air Force Personnel Center regarding policy matters to ensure uniformity and consistency in interpretive guidance issued to subordinate units. Interact with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Secretary of the Air Force (SAF) and other Reserve Component staffs to ensure initiatives and changes are appropriately reviewed and coordinated.
