I was a tech in the ER for a year which helped me to gain my skills in multitasking but also being efficient in a fast-paced environment. I then moved into a cardiac post-op specialty which allowed me to use my best judgement and assessment with fairly ill patients coming from CVICU. Cardiac post-op has helped me gain the skills of recognizing potential complications and being efficient in knowing when to take action.
