Being a Professional Dog Groomer has come with a lot of responsibilities. During my work days I help customers schedule grooming appointments, answer any questions they have regarding their pets and update them on any possible health concerns regarding their pets. I am also in charge of giving dogs nail trims, baths, haircuts, and help matted/neglected dogs by removing matting ect. I also make sure they remain safe on the tables and have water while they are in their kennels. I stay very strict when it comes to following regulations regarding cleanliness by disinfecting all surfaces after each groom and at the end of the day.
I as a former employee at Camp Bow Wow, and I have learned
so much! I have learned how to give dogs baths and have
some experience with nail trimming. I am responsible for the
dogs and their wellbeing. I also assist with maintaining a
clean and healthy space for our furry friends along with paying
close attention to detail to make sure each dog is happy and
safe while playing with other dogs.
At Rover, my job is to take care of pet(s) by making sure they are fed, given water, taken out on walks, and any other special requests from the owners. I also make sure the owners are updated and or alerted if there is an emergency regarding their pet(s).
I have also housed dogs for owners who go out of town. I followed any instructions when it came to feeding, medicating, and walking their pets.
At Digstown I worked with every kind of dog, I fed, watched
over, and bathed the dogs. I also cleaned up after the dogs
outside, cleaned the room and sleeping areas, along with the
kitchen and the rest of the building.
