With the work I have done in the past with Ring Power, I believe I would like to go back into that career. I have enjoyed learning sales but am not sure that`s where I belong. While I have lots to learn with working on equipment, I have a good baseline knowledge and would love to expand that experience in the shop and field.
As a Sales Coordinator I have taken on a multitude of roles. Because of previous work experience, I am often traveling to customers Jobs and doing minor repairs on equipment, while also keeping up with customer sales. In addition, I often assisted with dispatching drivers and technicians when needed.
As a Machinist 2, I disassemble, machine, and rebuild cylinder heads for heavy equipment and semi trucks. Not only did i do machine work itself, this job has given me the first real shop experience I have had. In addition to the hands on work, I worked with outside customers multiple times a day every day. I have learned lots of valuable customer service skills as well as how the equipment field works with large companies and customers.
As a tool room attendant, I learned lots about the intricacies of small tools as well as specialty tooling for heavy equipment and other related components. More importantly, this was my first position in the equipment industry and sparked my interest to make this industry my career.
As a game host for laser tag, my primary role was to put on an exciting and engaging game time for whatever event I was booked for. Being a mobile party and event company, though, I learned much more than that. At a very young age, I was in a job that required the use of good customer service and communication skills. I learned how to properly and effectively speak to and with customers throughout my 4 years of this job.
While I have enjoyed my career thus far in the heavy equipment and now rental industry, I miss having a hands-on work experience and am excited about the possibility of getting to learn everything I can in regards to equipment.
