The job consist of performing Lock outs on Demin water system, Cogen system, and boilers. Permitting contractors is also a daily duty. Training new employees is also part of the job.

The job consist of running daily lab test on our cogen unit HRSG, demin water system, and boilers. Lab test consist of testing for alkalinity, sulfite, phosphate, chlorine, and silica. Unloading acid and caustic trucks is another daily duty. Balancing the steam header by Increasing mega watts on the cogen unit HRSG, or increasing steam output on boilers is another daily duty as well. Every shift daily rounds are done on cogen unit HRSG, gas turbine, and steam turbine. Checking oils on pumps, vacuum, and temperatures on cooling water are what these rounds consist of.
