My main responsibility was the care of the pets we had in stock, prioritizing the well being and safety of the animals. That included both maintenance of the animals health, and the enclosures they were in. Another major part of the job was assisting customers with a variety of needs and services. Including answering a variety of questions, informing people on care requirements and how other possible necessities, as well as assuring that my general workspace i was responsible for was clean and prepared for the customer’s convenience. I was also fully prepared and willing to switch around to other departments when necessary with no issue. Things like working the register, and shelving back stock, were common things i would be doing if i wasn't doing my usual job that day.

Fulfilled online and in-person orders for within a time limit, for both individual customers and private contractors. The orders varied heavily from something as simple as a single tool, to up to 500 2x4 wood planks or bricks. Me and my coworkers would work as a team using various tools such as pallet jacks and forklifts to make sure peoples order were put together and ready to be picked up within the plotted time period.(time period would vary between 2 hours, or up to 3 weeks depending on who was ordering what.) i would also switch to department like lumber or electrical when they were low on staff and needed help. I was more that willing and able to learn what i needed to i order to help there.
