Fluid-Powered Vehicle Capstone Project ; Spring 2020

  • Won Rookie of the year award for the final competition.
  • Completed in National competition to see which university can build the best Hydraulic Powered Bicycle.
  • Responsible for using SolidWorks to CAD model key components and construction of bicycle.
  • Bike was equipped with many parts such as a reservoir, manifold, motor, pump, and a microcontroller to adapt to different drive modes that would change the efficiency of the system
  • Performed analysis of different pump and motor combinations, comparing performance to range, weight, etc. requirements
  • Mechanical design, stress tests and fabrication of mounts to have a one-off bicycle frame to accommodate for aftermarket components.

Car/Motorcycle Projects

  • Installed a custom exhaust including manipulation of brackets and accessories on 2022 Harley Davidson ; Summer 2023
  • Complete disassemble and restoration of a 2008 Yamaha R6 ; Fall 2020
