Summary

I started my career with the City of Jasper in 2002. I have worked in many departments including water and sewer and building departments .I have knowledge of fire department operations on a daily basis and on the fire ground and in the administrative side. I am currently enrolled in a fire science technology degree and hold numerous certifications. I am currently firefighter 2 , fire inspector 1 , Arson investigator 1 , hazmat tech , fire officer 1 , fire officer 2 , emergency medical technician fire investigations for fire officers. I have classes from the national fire academy and the state fire academy I have 50 of 72 completed CFI trainer classes on arson and investigations. I have developed a fee schedule that to date has generated over $ 308,000 for the City of Jasper in fees and fines on the commercial side and residential side. I have been a officer for the department for a total of 10 years I have experience in supervision and policy implementation and policy development. I have a vast knowledge of the fire apparatus at the station far as mechanical I have saved the City of Jasper thousands of dollars in repairs in house with my knowledge. I have also been involved in grant writing procedures and have I have a vast knowledge of the building types and the water system of the City of Jasper. I know the response district and the automatic aid and mutual aid responses required for the area an what apparatus might be needed for the area inside or outside our service delivery area and I have seen the city grow and where development lacks I would like to bring the city up to date with the requirements I have a vision for my home town to where I grew up.
