IAN S. SULLIVAN

Wolcott,Connecticut

Summary

My name is Ian Sullivan, I am 20 years old, and an aspiring professional pilot with a lifelong dedication to aviation. I started flying at twelve, and began formal lessons at fifteen. Now, I hold a Commercial Pilot License – Single Engine Land with an Instrument Rating and I'm completing my Commercial Multi-Engine Add-on at Phoenix East Aviation in Daytona Beach, Florida. At twelve, I joined the Civil Air Patrol, quickly advancing to Second Lieutenant by fifteen. As Aerospace Officer for four years, I earned the Air Force Aerospace Excellence Award each year. These experiences instilled discipline, leadership, and respect, shaping who I am today, while allowing me to mentor younger cadets. Beyond aviation, I felt a calling to serve my community through emergency services. As an EMT and firefighter in Connecticut, I worked directly with people in critical situations. I also served as a PCA/Medtech in a retirement home, providing compassionate care to elderly residents. These roles have made me a professional who is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and genuinely dedicated to helping others. Academically, I consistently achieved high honors throughout my four years at Holy Cross High School. My strong faith has always driven my academic and service pursuits, guiding my decisions and reinforcing my commitment to integrity and hard work. I am confident I would be a valuable asset to your team; my dedication to aviation, real-world service experience, and mission-driven mindset uniquely position me to contribute meaningfully. I am ready to grow with your company and represent your values with professionalism, precision, and purpose. Thank you for considering my application. I welcome the opportunity to discuss how I can support your team’s success and continue my journey as a professional pilot.
