Idah Knowles

Idah Knowles is a professional specializing in gender and good governance, actively promoting open governance and inclusive democracy reforms. With over 4 years of extensive experience, she has worked with multidisciplinary teams on good governance reforms for sustainable development, focusing on areas such as parliamentary monitoring, gender and development, crisis communications, risk management, legal and economic issues, as well as socio-cultural and political rights at different levels - sub-national, national, regional, and global. She's known for her successful collaboration in governance advocacy, program development, and thematic leadership. As a young program leader, she has maintained professional relationships with various stakeholders including governments, parliaments, political parties, international organizations, diplomatic missions, civil society groups, media, activists, and others.
