Volunteer Work
All 4 years of high school I volunteered at a Christian youth summer camp. This camp was designed to provide a free summer camp for children whose families could not afford summer camp. I was a camp counselor there and helped teach the children about faith. I volunteered 2 weeks every summer. I also recruited many of my friends and peers to volunteer since the camp was very short handed.
November of 2022 my classmates and I went on a 5 day trip to Appalachia in Virginia to volunteer. There we designed and built a patio with a easy access ramp for an elderly woman's home.
