Ilse Ruiz

As a Sheriff's Sergeant, I am responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of Deputy Sheriffs assigned to my patrol shift. To assign and review the work of assigned staff, monitor assigned cases for progress and disposition. Prepare and review a variety of records and reports related to unit activities, equipment, training needs, work schedules, and attendance. Overall, to supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff, and to provide training, direction, and assistance to subordinates.

As a Senior Deputy Sheriff, I am responsible for overseeing and mentoring deputies, providing guidance and support during shift as well as maintaining peace and enforcing laws within the county of Imperial. My duties include patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergency calls, conducting investigations, apprehending suspects, and providing assistance at crime scenes.

As a criminal Investigator I am responsible for solving crimes by gathering and analyzing evidence, interviewing witnesses and suspects, and conducting thorough investigations. I work closely with other law enforcement agencies and forensic teams to piece together details of criminal cases, preparing detailed report and documentation for legal proceedings to secure convictions.

As a Deputy Sheriff I am responsible for maintaining peace and enforcing laws within the county of Imperial. My duties include patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergency calls, conducting investigations, apprehending suspects, and providing assistance at crime scenes.

As a reserve deputy, I functioned as a full time Bailiff in the El Centro Superior Court. I am responsible for maintaining peace and enforcing laws within the county of Imperial.
