Hello! My name is Imarie Carter, and this is my first year at Kentucky Wesleyan College. The journey getting to where I am right now has been quite an experience. My dad was in the army for most of my life, being a military brat had its pros and cons at times, but it was worth it. I wouldn’t trade what I got to experience for the world. Getting to live in Germany for 3 years of my life (and other places) is something I will never forget and hold near and dear to my heart. Being a younger kid while overseas witnessing diversity and being a part of it was like no other. Over my short time there I learned that differences are what make friendships, relationships, and people as a whole so special and unique. My past experiences have made me who I am today, I consider my self resilient, hardworking, respectful, kind, and enthusiastic.
