Description: The Reddick Research Group is interested in contributing to the in vitro annotation of the B. subtilis genome. This genome was one of the first organisms to have their genome fully sequenced. However, about 40% of the proteins it encodes have been biologically characterized. My role consisted of analyzing different compounds with High-Performance Liquid Chromatography

Description: The Schmedake Research Group is interested in developing molecular and hybrid materials for optical and electronic applications. Most research has focused on developing silicon-based materials for optoelectronic devices, including OLEDs, OPVs, chemical sensors, and electrochromic windows. We utilize molecular modeling to predict synthetic targets that possess the desired optical, electronic, and chemical properties needed to improve the performance of a device. My role consisted of developing hexacoordinate silicon complexes for organic electronic devices
