I have worked at the Randalls island kids camp since my sophomore year. Through this camp I have attained and sharpened skills in the multitude of activities that are at the camp.
Supervised campers during activities, ensuring safe, structured, and engaging daily experiences.
Manage group transitions, attendance, and activity setup to maintain smooth operations.
Support campers with conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and positive peer interactions.
Work with children of varying age, interest, skill, and developmental levels.
Ensure camper safety by enforcing camp rules, supervising group activities, and responding promptly to incidents or concerns.
Develop strong relationships with co-counselors that result in seamless teamwork during challenging situations or emergencies.
Collaborate with other camp counselors to design fun and enriching learning activities for campers.

From February to June of this school year, I was part of the Learn and Earn program. Completed a CUNY course, earning college credit and enhancing understanding of post-secondary goals. As well as participating in the internship part of the program focused on the fitness program run by Lou Schlanger.

I was placed at Bronx works during the school year and was a part of the community health team as an intern from December to March. Identified community issues impacting local residents, informing team strategies for Coordinated and facilitated cooking and technology classes for local older adults, enhancing their engagement and skills for local older adults.
