I've always had a deep fascination with art– but I'm a terrible artist. So I shifted my interests to the cognitive aspects: how the human mind reacts to abstract modes of communication. Naturally, this resulted in my intention to major in Cognitive Science as a student at the University of Richmond. Using my interests in the real world involves understanding the mind behind every person I interact with, which works nicely with my strengths in customer service instilled into me since age 16.
My career aspirations employ a Cognitive Science Major to enter the field of Product Management through an expertise in User Experience. Learning how to transform emotions, memories, and lifetimes' worth of perspectives into pragmatic ways of better servicing the common customer piques an interest that is matched only by my motivation.
