  • My position was within the service department of the dealership.
  • I am a dealership porter who assisted with miscellaneous tasks throughout the service department ranging from cleaning, parts delivery, shuttle driver, and organizing appointments with customers either through phone or in person.
  • My primary responsibilities were to keep accountability for the vehicles on the lot that came in for service work or move vehicles to various spots within the dealership lots.
  • I would move vehicles from various spots of the lot to help free up space in the parking lot for customers to have easy access to our services.
  • I would also have the cars ready to be picked up by customers or prepare them for the shop technicians.
  • The dealership had a courtesy shuttle I would operate for customers that needed a ride to and from the dealership. It was another one of my priority responsibilities.

  • First deployment under Title 10 orders activated under the Missouri Army National Guard.
  • I was stationed in Carrizo Springs, Texas, to support Border Patrol in securing the US/Mexico border.
  • Our main priority was to provide observation for Border Patrol of migrants illegally entering the US and reported the information to Border Patrol agents around the area of operation.
  • We were stationed throughout the US southern border of Texas.
  • We were positioned on the border at designated sites for 8-10 hours a shift nearly everyday.
  • We have three shift changes throughout each day of the week operating the sites 24/7.
  • We monitored areas such as the local roads of Texas along the border, the Rio Grande River, and remote regions of vegetation and open terrain.
  • We were assigned Border Patrol and Army-issued equipment to help identify migrant activity under any environmental condition at any time of the day.
  • We provided additional security for Border Patrol agents with large groups of migrants after apprehension.
  • During processing, we gathered the number of juveniles, males, and females for both Border Patrol and the Task Force for documentation purposes.
  • Operated Border Patrol provided vehicles. One of our responsibilities was to maintain the vehicles via operator level of maintenance as well as annotate mechanical issues to unit mechanics.

  • Our main tasks were to restock the shelves and remove any expired goods still on the shelves during my shift,
  • Throughout the night, we would bring out pallets of different products of, dried goods, cleaning supplies, and even refrigerated food filling the various departments of the store.
  • We’d separate the pallets to specific isles and start dismantling the pallets, stocking the shelves as the pallets were broken down.
  • We’d gather and carry the items to where they’d belong and start placing them in the correct spots while also organizing the shelves to have a more professional and clean presentation.

  • I was previously on active-duty orders in response to Covid-19 for over a year assisting relief efforts in St. Louis and Sikeston Missouri. These orders was under Title 32.
  • My unit was tasked with supporting food bank operations and smaller food distributions around the state through means of manual distributions or traffic regulations through physical labor of service members.
  • We operated our trucks to transport food and other critical supplies in both the city environment and rural areas of Missouri.
  • We also spent most of our time in warehouses, packaging, organizing, labeling, and distributing food/supplies to civilians throughout the region.
  • We operated both electric pallet jacks and manual pallet jacks for loading critical supplies in various forms of transportation.
  • I am familiar with carrying heavy equipment as well as familiar with the organization of assembly lines.
  • I was on orders from April 2020 to August 2021.
