Responsible for managing the movement, tracking, and documentation of incoming and outgoing
materials, ensuring compliance with company procedures and environmental regulations. Support plant
personnel and transportation teams to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all material handling
activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, including
scheduling, staging, and verifying loads.
• Prepare and process all required shipping documentation, such as Bills of Lading (BOLs), manifests,
packing lists, and waste tracking forms.
• Communicate daily with drivers, dispatchers, and facility management to ensure smooth flow of
operations.
• Verify analytical data and approvals prior to shipping or disposal, coordinating with analytical and
compliance teams as needed.
• Assist in auditing and tracking 90-day storage boxes and containers to ensure timely processing and
regulatory compliance.
• Perform data entry and updates in the company tracking system (internal databases).
• Support safety initiatives and site compliance programs, including daily inspections, PPE usage, and
reporting of near-misses or incidents.
Working in an industrial environment, sometimes outdoors, and frequently moving, loading, and tracking
materials Making sure that drums and waste move safely, efficiently, and in compliance. Safety isn’t just
one priority; it’s the priority.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure health & safety leads everything I do by following all policies, processes and safe work practices.
• Perform daily hands-on operations such as:
• Drum pumping, drum dumping operations.
• Off-loading trucks or vans, unloading containers, loading shipments for disposal or processing.
• Re-packing drums, storing waste safely, reconciling inventory, general housekeeping in warehouse.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, etc) when required.
• Complete required paperwork and tracking (waste movement, shipments, inventory).
• Work under changing conditions — indoor/outdoor, varying temperatures, possibly adverse weather.• Comply with all local, state, and federal environmental / safety regulatory requirements.
